The first trailer for Cara Delevingne’s new BBC Three documentary is finally here.

Premiering on 1 December, Planet Sex is set to follow the acclaimed LGBTQ+ advocate and model as she searches for answers regarding human sexuality.

Throughout the six part docuseries, Delevingne will meet an array of sex experts and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Drag Race star Gottmik is also set to make an appearance to talk about his journey as a trans man.

“On this immersive journey, she puts her mind and body on the line in search of answers, donating her orgasm to science in Germany; making art from her vagina in Japan; hitting up a women-only sex club; taking a masturbation masterclass, and visiting an “ethical” porn set, in the name of understanding our deepest desires,” reads the official synopsis.

“In every episode, she shares her own personal experiences. Uniquely unfiltered and authentic, there’s no limit on how far Cara’s willing to go to explore what makes us all human.”

In addition to the sex-positive content, Delevingne will also shed light on her coming out journey and the challenges she faced while navigating her internalised homophobia.

Back in 2020, the acclaimed model came out as pansexual in a candid 2020 interview with Variety.

During a recent Mipcom panel, the Suicide Squad star gave further insight into the series and revealed that she felt like a “prude” in certain moments.

“I’m used to being a chameleon, but this was absurd. I used to think of myself as hip, young, and cool but felt like such a prude. But I ended up doing everything I felt comfortable doing,” she explained (per Deadline).

Towards the end of her panel discussion, Delevingne opened up about the importance of the inclusive series.

“My journey has been lucky and privileged, and some people have been through much harder experiences. Given my platform, I wanted to connect people in the most authentic way I could,” she said.
