Brazilian superstar Gloria Groove has announced a raft of international tour dates, including shows in the UK and Europe.

The drag queen – and former GAY TIMES Magazine cover star – will play headline shows this summer, bringing her fierce stage presence and fiery anthems to a number of venues and festivals.

Gloria will appear at Dublin’s Mother Pride Block Party on 28 June, before headlining London’s Electric Ballroom on 9 July.

The star will also perform across a number of major European cities, including Paris, Barcelona, Lisbon and Berlin.

Tracks like VERMELHO, NOSSA MÚSICA and A QUEDA have amassed hundreds of millions of streams for Gloria Groove, positioning her as one of Brazil’s biggest music artists.

Her latest album FUTURO FLUXO celebrates the legacy and style of Brazilian funk, blending it with influences of futurism and sci-fi.

“With this album I want to create a historical document of Brazilian funk, put my stamp on this style, break that bubble, celebrate my adolescence, my high school, and unite my passion for funk with my passion for technological, futuristic, science fiction aesthetics,” Gloria told GAY TIMES last summer in her cover story.

“It’s so crazy, when I started talking about FUTURO FLUXO, Beyoncé hadn’t come up with the Renaissance aesthetic yet. I remember being at the Renaissance show and thinking, ‘It’s the right time! If mother said it’s time to talk about the future, it’s because the time has come.’ It’s funk, it’s trap, it’s futurism, it’s Gloria Groove, it’s dance!”
