Nicole Scherzinger will headline one of Sydney WorldPride’s most highly anticipated events, the Bondi Beach Party, on 4 March 2023.

The singer will perform in a line-up which features all-Australian DJs including dameeeela, Jarred Baker, Jacqui Cunningham, DJ Charlie Villas and DJ Dan Murphy.

The event will see 12,000 people take to the beach for one day only as it essentially becomes a club for the global LGBTQ+ community.

“I am beyond excited to be welcoming Nicole Scherzinger to Sydney for her only performance at Sydney WorldPride,” said Kate Wickett, the CEO of Sydney WorldPride.

“Nicole Scherzinger’s performances are always electric and she is sure to raise the temperature at this sizzling beach party!”

Exactly what she will perform remains to be seen, but given the success she has had as a solo artist and as part of The Pussycat Dolls, the audience is definitely in for a treat.

NSW Minister for Tourism, Ben Franklin, added: “The excitement and anticipation around Sydney WorldPride continues to build with world-class performer Nicole Scherzinger sure to bring a buzz to the Bondi Beach Party.

“Visitors from all over NSW, Australia and the world will be wowed by the beauty of our city, our beaches, and the hospitality and experiences we have on offer.”

It was previously announced that Kylie Minogue would headline WorldPride’s opening ceremony, which is set to take place at The Domain on 24 February.

Hosted by Courtney Act and Casey Donovan, the opening will be broadcast nationally on ABC TV.

Final tickets go on sale to the general public at 10:00 AEDT on 9 December for all WorldPride major events including Bondi Beach Party presented by Optus and Live and Proud: Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert presented by American Express.

Sydney WorldPride 2023 runs for 17 days, from 17 February to 5 March 2023 incorporating Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. Tickets for official events can be purchased at SydneyWorldPride.com, with ones for community events available at prideamplified.au.
