Everyone’s favourite avocado aficionado, Antoni Porowski, is set to star in his own TV series.

Since 2018, the Polish-Canadian talent has captured the hearts of LGBTQIA+ TV viewers with his food and wine knowledge on the hit Netflix series Queer Eye.

Now it looks like he’ll be taking his dreamy looks and lust for life internationally with his new solo show, No Taste Like Home with Antoni.

According to Deadline, the series is set to air on National Geographic and will follow Porowski as he helps a batch of global celebrities connect to their “rich heritages”.

“With extensive culinary expertise, a passion for connecting people through food and pride in his own Polish heritage, Porowski guides celebrities on an unprecedented journey toward cultural and personal discovery,” the press release adds.

While the participating celebrities are being kept under wraps, the exciting episodes will see The Blacklist star travel to South Korea, Germany, Italy, Senegal, Malaysian Boreno, New York and Texas.

In a statement, Porowski expressed his excitement for the show and working with National Geographic.

“Food is such an integral part of understanding who we are and where we come from,” he said.

“I am so grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, alongside some wonderful friends both new and old, travelling the globe, making up for all the times I skipped geography class in high school, to explore food traditions and cultures, and am honored to embark on this journey with National Geographic.”

TV chef Gordon Ramsey, whose production company is producing the series, echoed similar sentiments – describing No Taste Like Home with Antoni as a “fascinating and feel-good series.”

No Taste Like Home with Antoni… will beautifully thread together family food stories from past and present,” he teased.

“I’m really thankful to our celebrities who came on this journey, taking us to all corners of the globe, inviting us into their lives and trusting us to tell their family’s food stories in this way.”

Executive vice president of Global Factual and Unscripted Content at National Geographic Tom McDonald added: “Antoni is the perfect person to take Nat Geo viewers – and our famous faces – on these global adventures.

“He’s full of curiosity about the world, is deeply passionate and knowledgeable about culinary history, and has a unique ability to draw out the emotional connection between places and food.”

As of this writing, a release date for No Taste Like Home with Antoni has yet to be announced.
