The 1975’s lead singer Matty Healy kissed a male fan onstage during the band’s latest concert.

Over the last few weeks, music enthusiasts in North America have flocked to different arenas to immerse themselves in the band’s At Their Very Best tour.

Since hitting the road, the group has garnered attention for their dazzling performances and Healy’s shocking antics, like eating raw meat on stage during their Madison Square Garden show.

However during the band’s recent back-to-back concerts in Las Vegas, the lead singer made headlines after he locked lips with a male fan on stage.

While performing the band’s hit song Robbers during their 26 November show, the beloved talent brought the attendee on stage – which resulted in the two slow dancing (per a fan video on Twitter).

Towards the end of the song, Healy and the fan shared a passionate kiss before security escorted the happy individual off stage.

Shortly after the moment went viral, fans flocked to social media to share their reactions.

One person wrote: “THAT SHOULD BE MEEEEEEEEE.”

Another fan tweeted: “Let me get a ticket to this tour…”

This isn’t the first time Healy has locked lips with a fan of the same sex.

During the band’s 2019 show in Dubai, he defied the country’s strict archaic anti-LGBTQ laws when he kissed a male fan during his performance of Loving Someone.

Although fans praised him for recognising his queer fans at the time, some were worried about the consequences. In Dubai, homosexuality is illegal and is punishable by up to ten years in prison.

Shortly after the show, Healy tweeted: “Thank you, Dubai, you were so amazing. I don’t think we’ll be allowed back due to my’ behaviour’, but know that I love you and I wouldn’t have done anything differently given the chance again.”

Despite Healy’s inclusive history of kissing men, the 33-year-old singer does not identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community.

In 2018, he told  Shortlist Magazine that he doesn’t have “carnal, sexual feelings” towards the same sex.

“The other sex is still attractive. It’s just that sex is weird, isn’t it? Do you know what I mean? It’s like, ‘Do I want to do blow jobs with a guy?’ No. Do I want to a kiss a guy? Yeah, kind of…” he told the publication.
