Kim Petras has shown support for her LGBTQIA+ fans who have sex at her concerts in a new interview.

If you’re a fan of pop music, chances are you’ve heard of the openly trans talent and her expansive music catalogue.

Since making her debut in 2017 with her iconic single ‘I Don’t Want It All,’ the young talent has steadily worked her way up the music ladder –which has resulted in a dedicated worldwide fanbase and history-making achievements.

On 23 June, Petras continued her music takeover with the release of her debut album, Feed the Beast, which has since received positive reviews from fans and critics.

Led by the Nicki Minaj-assisted collaboration ‘Alone’, the album features the Sam Smith-assisted’ Unholy’, hyperpop track ‘Brrr’ and her iconic titty anthem ‘Coconuts.’

A few months after the album’s release, Petras embarked on her Feed the Beast World Tour, which is halfway through its North American leg.

In a recent sit down with Interview Magazine, Petras spilt the tea about her creative process for the show and how it differs from her previous tours.

“Well, it’s neem some time since I toured. I’ve learned a lot about performing since then. I’ve just grown so much as a performer, and I think this show is a bit of a manifesto,” she explained.

“It’s more me and why I am an artist and why I do what I do. And if you look at the show, it’s kind of inspired by Dante’s Inferno and the different levels of hell. And I just realigned those different levels with my EPs.”

Elsewhere in her interview, Petras revealed that Brooklyn and Chicago were some of her favourite stops before giving insight into her goals for the show and its attendees.

“I like the warehouse Vibe where people can stand and dance, and I feel like my music is better for that so that it feels more like a party than a stadium, sitting down with your drink and observing,” she explained.

After the interviewer compared her concert to wanting to “be touched by a different person all over, the entire time,” the ‘Future Starts Now’ singer responded: “Yes… which is something I’m proud of.”

She added: “There’s definitely gay sex happening, which is lit… In the crowd, and that’s the goal.”

Following a 22-date North American leg, the Petras will bring the Feed the Beast extravaganza to Europe.

Starting on 13 February 2024 in Birmingham, the tour will visit Glasgow, Manchester, London, Paris, Cologne, Amsterdam, Berlin, Warsaw, Munich and Milan.

“The UK and rest of Europe holds a very special place in my heart. I know it has been a few years since my last tour – I’ve missed you!” she said in a statement.

“I’m so excited to bring you my biggest show yet. Let’s go all out and have the best time ever. I cannot wait to be back!”
