Plane Jane has broken her silence on giving away her immunity potion in the latest episode of Drag Race season 16.

Spoilers ahead

For this week’s maxi-challenge, the seven remaining queens – Dawn, Mhi’ya Iman Le’Paige, Morphine Love Dion, Nymphia Wind, Jane, Q, and Sapphira Cristál – were tasked with “digging deep” and letting their voices be heard on the inspirational voting anthem “Power.”

“First, you’ll write a solo verse about what matters to you as a drag queen living in the USA,” Ru added.

“Next, you’ll record your vocals with Power composers Leland and Freddie Scott. Then, you will exercise your right to shake your groove with choreographer Jamal Sims.”

While a handful of the queens thrived during the creative process, Nymphia struggled with putting her thoughts to paper. She even revealed to Dawn that Megami wrote her lyrics during the girl group challenge.

“She mentions that Megami wrote her entire lyrics last time, so she’s having a little trouble…she wrote, ‘Nymphia Wind. There’s a wind coming.’ Girl, the wind is your elimination,” Dawn joked in a confessional.

After recording their vocals and learning intricate choreography, the queens returned to the workroom the next day to prepare for their performance and – in Nymphia’s case – petition for Plane’s immunity potion – which was set to expire.

“Plane Jane. You know how beautiful I think you are, right?” the Taiwanese queen exclaimed while walking to the Boston talent’s makeup station.

In response, Plane poked fun at Nymphia and her attempt to get in her good graces.

“Sister, are you feeling worried about your, you know, underwhelming verse?” she teased.

Following the duo’s hilarious exchange, the queens headed to the main stage, delivering thier unique, comedic, informative ‘Power’ verses.

While their performance was iconic, the episode’s biggest moment came before the judges’ critique, when Plane decided to give Nyphmia her immunity potion after all.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 26-year-old talent gave insight into her surprising- yet charitable move.

“Nymphia had expressed to me that she was worried that she was in the bottom, and that she didn’t feel confident in her performance,” she told the publication.

“Essentially, that made me assume that she also didn’t do well. This week, I didn’t serve me to be so prideful, but I thought Nymphia was in danger, and if there’s anything “iconic” I could do with this immunity potion other than saving myself, I’d rather give it to a friend who feels as though they need it.”

Towards the end of her statement, Plane cryptically revealed that her decision wasn’t solely because she wanted to be nice.

“It wasn’t not a move of strategy, but it wasn’t not congenial. I was being nice, but I was also being strategic,” she explained.

“I was aware that was probably going to be wildly entertaining and fun, but it also was totally to my own benefit.”

On next week’s episode of Drag Race season 16, the queens are tasked with creating a Drag Awareness Employee Seminar. Fire Island star Joel Kim Booster will join Mama Ru on the judges’ panel.

Drag Race season 16 is available to stream on WOW Presents Plus and MTV.
