Heidi N Closet has opened up about almost quitting Drag Race All Stars 8 in a recent interview.

During the show’s third episode of Untucked, the Miss Congeniality winner threatened to leave the competition after she secured a safe position in the Supermarket Ball challenge.
“Baby, I’m done. Ya’ll are in for a gag tonight, honey. I’m leaving,” she whispered to her alliance partner Kandy Muse.
When Kandy asked her to clarify, Heidi replied: “I’m leaving. I don’t want to keep doing this. I’m leaving… have fun. I’ve shown enough.”
However, before the two queens could finish their conversation, the episode’s guest judge JoJo Siwa visited the contestants to give them a pep talk.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the season 12 queen gave insight into why she was close to stepping away from All Stars 8.
“At the end of the day, it came down to, was I content with all that I had done there, and what I finished showing? she explained.
She went on to say that, after reflecting on her feelings “off camera”, she decided to stay in the competition because she had “a little more to show.”

“But, that day was very rough, and it was a very emotional day. I was also taken aback by [Mrs Kasha Davis] unfortunately leaving us,” she continued.
“I was very hurt by that, too. They didn’t show how close me and Kasha got, I was walking around calling her auntie and stuff. It was a rough day.”
Heidi also revealed to the publication that she was dealing with family issues before returning for All Stars, which factored into her brief decision to leave.
“There was a lot going on with my family around the time I left as well, because we’d lost my grandmother two years prior, and my family had been really struggling,” she said.
“The last time I was with my entire family, a gun got pulled out… We get [to Drag Race], it’s just a pressure cooker in the competition and a long day of filming, late nights working on stuff… it was just overwhelming and, in that moment, I was frustrated.”
Fortunately for Heidi fans, the beloved queen stayed in the competition and continued to showcase her charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent in the season’s latest episode.
