Adore Delano has opened up about the All Stars winner that helped prepare her for Drag Race.

Since appearing in the sixth season of the beloved franchise, Adore has garnered a dedicated fan base due to her iconic looks, lovable personality and unforgettable one-liners.

The fan-favourite queen has also curated a successful music career by releasing three studio albums – one of which became the highest-charting release by a Drag Race alumni on the Billboard 200.

While the beloved talent continues to make waves in the Drag Race fandom and beyond, her season six debut almost didn’t happen.

In a recent interview on the Very Delta podcast, Adore spilt all the tea on her Drag Race journey – including the original season she was cast on and the fashion help she received from an All Stars queen.

“I was supposed to get on on season five of Drag Race but I had no clothes. So they said, ‘You need to cook up for a bit and get your wardrobe up’, and season six, I still had no clothes,” she explained.

The Party singer went on to say that season two queen and All Stars 6 winner Kylie Sonique Love helped her by lending some of her own clothes.

“Sonique showed up to my place with three trash bags of drag and said, ‘Well, do it.'”

Adore’s recent interview comes a few months after she opened up about potentially returning to Drag Race All Stars.

While appearing on the Sissy That Talk Show, the I Adore U singer opened up about the rumours of her being cast in the sixth instalment of the popular spin-off series.

“We were in like ‘last minute’ negotiations, and I said yes last minute, and they couldn’t clear my talent show in time,” she told the show’s host, Joseph Shepherd.

“I was gonna spit fire! And I was gonna break, I had sugar bottles made, and I was going to put water in it and start breaking it over my head. It was gonna be epic.”

In the end, producers only agreed to the bottle-breaking portion of the talent show, which resulted in her not appearing on the season.

When asked if she would ever go on All Stars again, Adore replied, “Probably. But they have to let me do what I want to do.”
