Attention Drag Race fans! The first trailer for RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under season two is finally here.

On 21 July, World of Wonder dropped the first teaser for the upcoming season – which features 10 new queens competing for the title of ‘Down Under’s Next Drag Superstar’.

In true Drag Race fashion, the trailer opens up with Mama Ru delivering an iconic speech amidst sickening shots of the new contestants.

“I hope you’re all hungry. Because you’re about to get served,” RuPaul says. “You made it to RuPaul’s Drag Race and I am thrilled to be back Down Under.”

The teaser then shows an array of clips from the forthcoming season – including sneak peeks into the variety of new challenges, runways and lip-sync showdowns the queens will endure.

“Oh, she’s popping off, y’all,” Ru says at the end of the trailer.

Like its inaugural season, Michelle Visage and Rhys Nicholson will once again join RuPaul on the judging panel.

In a statement, RuPaul said he’s “thrilled to produce and host” a new season of the series, and that he’s “only just begun” to spotlight the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of the drag community in Australasia.

Season one premiered last year and saw Kita Mean conquer over competitors such as Art Simone, Karen from Finance and Scarlet Adams, winning a one-year supply of Revolution Beauty Cosmetics and a cash prize of $30,000.

The series was full of iconic guest stars such as Taika Waititi, Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, Troye Sivan, The Veronicas, Dame Olivia Newton-John, Raven and Rena Owen.

Drag Race Down Under is set to air on Stan (Australia) and TVNZ On Demand (New Zealand), while international viewers can stream on the streamer of all-things drag, WOW Presents Plus.
