New queer couple alert!

On 11 May, Lily-Rose Depp took to her Instagram story to confirm her relationship with rapper 070 Shake.

“4 months with my crush,” she wrote alongside a series of photos, which featured the two embracing and kissing, per E! News.

Months before her heartfelt statement, the two industry talents made waves after they were spotted together at Paris Fashion Week – which took between 27 February and 7 March.

The two love birds also teased their romance across various Instagram posts leading up to Depp’s aforementioned announcement.

Throughout her career, The King star has kept a somewhat open rapport regarding her sexuality.

In a 2016 interview with Nylon, Depp rejected the idea of labels due to sexuality being “so fluid.”

“You don’t have to label yourself because it’s not set in stone. It’s so fluid, and there’s so much pressure on kids to label themselves and say, ‘This is what I am, this is what I like,'” she explained. “You don’t need to label yourself.”

Aside from her exciting relationship updates, Depp is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated and controversial new series The Idol – which is set to air on HBO.

Created by The Weeknd, Reza Fahim and Euphoria’s Sam Levinson, the series is set to follow a “determined” Jocelyn (Depp) as she aims to “claim her rightful status as the greatest and sexiest pop star in America”.

“Her passions are reignited by Tedros (The Weeknd), a nightclub impresario with a sordid past,” the synopsis continues. “Will her romantic awakening take her to glorious new heights or the deepest and darkest depths of her soul?”

The Idol boasts an ensemble cast, with Depp and The Weeknd joined by Suzanna Son, Troye Sivan, Moses Sumney, Jane Adams, Dan Levy, Jennie Kim, Eli Roth, Rachel Sennott, Hari Nef, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Mike Dean, Ramsey and Hank Azaria.

According to HBO, the series will air on Sunday, 4 June. Check out the latest trailer for the show here or below.
