The second season of Queen of the Universe has been pushed back.

According to Paramount Plus, the highly-anticipated new season has been moved from 1 April to 3 June in the UK, Latin America, Italy, France and Germany, and 2 June in the U.S. and Canada.

The international drag-singing competition, hosted by Graham Norton, will continue to spotlight drag queens from all corners of the world as they “battle for global domination”, (bragging rights) and a cash prize of $250,000.

Our favourite pop diva panel also returns, although there’s one minor change. In place of Leona Lewis is Spice Girls icon Mel B, who will share her pop diva wisdom with season one panellists Michelle Visage, Trixie Mattel and Vanessa Williams.

The season two line-up is as follows: Aura Eternal (Palermo, Italy), Chloe V (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), Jazell Royale (Orlando, U.S.), Love Masisi (Amsterdam, Netherlands), Maxie (Manila, Philippines), Militia Scunt (San Francisco, U.S.), Miss  Sistrata (Tel Aviv, Israel), Taiga Brava (Cancun, Mexico), Trevor Ashley (Sydney, Australia) and Viola (Coventry, UK).

Aura Eternal and Love Masisi respectively competed on the second seasons of Drag Race Italia and Drag Race Holland, while Jazelle Royale – a bonafide drag legend – has gone viral on social media countless times.

Brazil memorably conquered the first season thanks to the legendary scat vocal stylings of Grag Queen, who went on to release pop bangers such as Party Everyday, Fim de Tarde, YOU BETTA and the official GAY TIMES Honours 2022 single, Future is Queer.

RuPaul serves as an executive producer on Queen of the Universe alongside MTV Entertainment Studios and World of Wonder, the producers of Drag Race.
