Leigh-Anne Pinnock – who goes simply by Leigh-Anne for her big solo debut – has released her brand new single.

The Little Mix star has unveiled infectious new song Don’t Say Love with a cinematic visual that positions her as an exciting force in pop in her own right.

The high-energy track infuses a garage-beat over an earworm chorus that sets itself up as a summer anthem.

“Don’t Say Love is about no longer seeking external validation and regaining my confidence and sense of self in a world where I often felt misunderstood and unheard,” Leigh-Anne said of its release.

“This video is a visual representation of me finding my voice. I’m excited to continue to do so with my first love, music.”

Don’t Say Love was co-written by Aldae and produced by Jon Bellion and Pete Nappi.

The accompanying music video sees Leigh-Anne go full solo star with stylised choreography, impressive set pieces and a swan dive (!!).

The visual was directed by Emil Nava and used to represent Leigh-Anne’s rebirth in life and music, following the star as she embarks on a quest throughout to find herself.

As part of Little Mix, Leigh-Anne enjoyed success in one of the biggest-selling girl groups of all time, accumulating more than 60 million record sales worldwide.

The singer has also turned her hand to acting, taking on a leading role in festive film Boxing Day back in 2021.

More recently, she narrated a new audio version of The Little Mermaid for Audible.
