Icesis Couture has responded to Drag Race viewers who are “mad” about her participation on Canada vs the World.

The second international version in the franchise was ruvealed earlier this week, seeing nine fierce contestants from the Drag Race family go head-to-head as they compete to become the second Queen of the Mothertucking World.

The queens joining Icesis are as follows: Anita Wig’lit (Down Under season one), Kendall Gender (Canada season two), Ra’Jah O’Hara (US season 11, All Stars 6), Rita Baga (Canada season one), Silky Nutmeg Ganache (US season 11, All Stars 6), Stephanie Prince (Canada season two), Vanity Milan and Victoria Scone (UK season three).

As the winner of Canada’s Drag Race season two, Icesis’ makes herstory as the second champion to compete on an All Stars/Vs the World season after Bebe Zahara Benet returned to the werkroom in All Stars 3.

Following the season announcement, a select few ‘fans’ complained that Icesis “shouldn’t be there” and that it would’ve made more sense for her to compete on the franchise’s first-ever all-winners’ season, All Stars 7.

“Can you all just enjoy the season!? Some of y’all are just so mad that I’m on the season, gross!” Icesis responded, before telling fans that she “didn’t know” about the recent winners’ season, which memorably saw the return of Jaida Essence Hall, Jinkx Monsoon, Monét X Change, Raja, Shea Couleé, Trinity the Tuck, The Vivienne and Yvie Oddly.

“I was already gone you guys lol ALSO they didn’t ask me!” she added. “Y’all do realize I can still be on an all winners season right?! Y’all stay confused LOL The more Haus of Couture on your tv the better!”

Icesis later called out the fans who “welcome” the returning contestants who lost their respective seasons “with open arms”, but take issue with winners launching a comeback, saying “ya’ll kill me with that shit!”

After a fan described her return as “odd”, Icesis hit back: “Odd to who? When drag race handed my the rule book that was never in there. Weird huh?”
