Kahanna Montrese issued a statement asking ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ fans to “not pressure” her into professionally shooting her looks from ‘All Stars 8’.

Despite only two episodes airing thus far, the season 11 star has gagged viewers with her runway looks and is likely to be one of the cast’s fashion queens.

However, unlike many queens who compete on ‘Drag Race’, Kahanna is yet to post any images from professional photoshoots showcasing the looks she has been serving – prompting a response to fans urging her to do so.

“I’ma say this once,” she wrote on Twitter. “Do not pressure me into shooting my looks. I will do it when muva is ready. I am very busy and I already spent hella coin just getting the looks. I ain’t no socialmedialist guru expertise. I just wanna have fun and what y’all get is what y’all get.”

Fans were quick to show support for Kahanna’s decision.

“I totally respect & understand this! We are thankful for anything you do,” one said.

Another tweeted: “Do your thing babes! Enjoy the experience and we will love all that you give us.”

“And what muva gives us is FIRE,” a third person added.

In another tweet, Kahanna expressed her disappointment at ‘Drag Race’ alum Raja and Raven seemingly not filming new episodes of Fashion Photo RuView for ‘All Stars 8’.

“So no fashion photo ruview this season?” she said. “I was waiting for my queen @sutanamrull to let me have it!”

‘All Stars 8’ premiered on 12 May on Paramount Plus in the US and on WOW Presents Plus in the UK, with the season seeing the return of former finalists, lip-sync assassins and Miss Congenialities.

The fierce line-up is as follows: Alexis Michelle, Darienne Lake, Heidi N Closet, Jaymes Mansfield, Jessica Wild, Jimbo, Kahanna Montrese, Kandy Muse, LaLa Ri, Monica Beverly Hillz, Mrs. Kasha Davis and Naysha Lopez.

Unlike past iterations of ‘All Stars’, the season doesn’t feature many two-time queens bar Jimbo, who competed three times on the first seasons of ‘Canada’s Drag Race’ and ‘UK vs the World’.

She is now the first queen to compete on ‘Drag Race’ in three different countries, as well as the first ‘Canada’s Drag Race’ contestant to compete on the US version of the show.

RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars Season 8 will premiere exclusively on WOW Presents Plus in the UK from Friday 12th May at 8am BST followed by brand new episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars Untucked. Subscribe to WOW Presents Plus via https://uk.wowpresentsplus.com/
