Dorian Electra shares shoegaze anthem Freak Mode

Eclectic artist Dorian Electra is back on the music scene with a brand new rock-inspired single Freak Mode.

The gender-fluid American singer-songwriter dropped their long-awaited debut album Flamboyant in 2019 which was heralded as a celebration of all things camp, colourful and extravagant.

Now, on their return, the icon is teasing a new era and marking a fresh beginning. Their new track Freak Mode, produced by Clarence Clarity, showcases Electra as you’ve never heard them before – it’s a shock rock anthem featuring filthy, dirty bass and drunken horns, topped with sugary operatic and slutty scat vocals.
