Remember how gagged we were in All Stars 2 when RuPaul brought back the eliminated queens? Yeah. This is way gaggier.

During the latest episode of Drag Race, RuPaul ‘suspended’ All Star rules after the top two queens of the week, Manila Luzon (third consecutive win, come thru Manila guurl) and Monét X Change, lip-synced for their legacy.

After deeming them both worthy of a win, RuPaul announced that nobody would be eliminated, despite both queens going through the hardship of deciding whose lipstick to pick out of the four remaining competitors.

“For the first time in Drag Race HERstory, All Star rules are suspended until further notice,” she told the contestants. “Ladies, please return to the werk room, and wait for further instructions.”

When the queens sashayed back into the werk room, they noticed a rather ominous message from Mama Ru on the mirror, which read: “Get ready to lip sync for your life, life, life.”

They quickly came to the conclusion that the ‘lip-sync for your legacy’ format would be replaced with the show’s classic ‘lip-sync for your life’ showdown, but it’s not as simple as that (obviously).

The most terrifying moment of the entire series then occurred, when Lady Bunny popped up behind the mirror in similar vein to Tatianna, Alyssa, Coco and Ginger in All Stars 2. Bitch, we saw Hereditary and Halloween last year, but that shit was somehow scurrier.

“Guess who’s back? No, not me… Look behind you!” she squealed, which then prompted the queens to turn around and see the four eliminated contestants, Latrice Royale, Gia Gunn, Farrah Moan and Jasmine Masters.

Yes, eliminated queens have returned before, but – like we said above – this is way gaggier, because it appears as if the eliminated queens will have to lip sync against the current top six to earn their place back in the competition.

The preview for next week teases the aftermath, and henny, it looks like the most dramatic episode so far, and that’s saying a lot, because this season has been one of the most confrontational in the show’s ten year history.
