The pop princess is set to perform for a Queen.
We’re already preparing ourselves for Kylie’s latest album, Golden, which is set for release on 6 April, but it seems we’re not the only ones.
For the Queen’s 92nd birthday, which will take place at the Royal Albert Hall, Kylie is among the acts booked to perform for her. The pop princess is set to perform alongside acts like Sir Tom Jones, Sting, and more surprisingly, Shaggy.
The head of BBC Radio 2, Lewis Carnie, said that the event “promises to be a spectacular evening of entertainment destined to bring the whole nation together.”

And writing on Twitter, the account for the royal family posted: “The BBC is to broadcast a special concert in celebration of the Queen’s 92nd birthday on Saturday 21 April @RoyalAlbertHall.”
And this won’t be the first time that Kylie has performed for the Queen, as she performed a mash-up of some of her greatest hits during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Meanwhile, if you’ve been craving tickets to one of Kylie’s legendary live shows, you’ll be pleased to know that she’s taking her new album on the road later this year with an extensive UK and Ireland tour.

Kicking off on 18 September, the tour will include stops in Newcastle, Nottingham, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Cardiff, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Dublin, before wrapping up in Belfast on 8 October.
