Cheryl Blossom is set to be the show’s second bisexual character.

There was excitement all around when it was announced that Riverdale would be getting its first bisexual character in the form of Toni Topaz, played Vanessa Morgan, last year.

And then the excitement increased further when it was announced that she would be getting a female love interest. And it looks like it may have been confirmed who that love interest is.

In a Q&A video on her YouTube channel, Madelaine Petsch, who plays Cheryl Blossom confirmed that her character was still “figuring out what her sexuality is.”

She then said: “Cheryl is definitely interested in both women and men, so I would say she’s bisexual.

“I think you’re going to see a lot more of her figuring out who she is.”

With eight episodes still left in this season of Riverdale, hopefully we’ll see Cheryl figure it out before the season ends.

Riverdale has been on a small break, but its next episode airs on The CW on March 7.
