Hedi Slimane

Get your tissues ready for this one…

It’s only been a week since Troye Sivan made his glorious comeback to the music scene with My, My, My! but the out Australian singer is clearly feeling generous, as he’s gifted fans with another brand new track today.

The Good Side marks a departure from the euphoric, danceable sound of My, My, My! as Troye sings of a failed relationship in which he got ‘the good side’ of the breakup – namely, travelling the world and living out his dream.

“I got the good side of things, left you with both of the rings, my fingers danced and swayed in the breeze, the change in the wind took you down to your knees,” he sings on the deeply personal track.

The song was written alongside Leland, Allie X, Ariel Rechtshaid, and Bram Inscore, who he thanked for “understanding the nuances and complexities of the moment and helping bring it to life” on Twitter.
