Lovers of female-led pop-rock music unite: Gwen Stefani will be joining Pink for her upcoming headline shows at BST Hyde Park.

Pink will return to the UK next year for the first time since her Beautiful Trauma World Tour, which historically became the second highest-grossing tour of all time by a female artist.

The Grammy winner is set to play two shows at American Express presents BST Hyde Park on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June alongside the previously announced Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Billy Joel, Take That and BLACKPINK.

“It’s been a long three years and I’ve missed live music so so much…. So it’s finally time!” Pink said in a statement. “I am so excited to get back to the UK and Europe to sing, cry, sweat and make new memories with my friends. It’s going to be magical!”

On 24 November, it was confirmed that Gwen Stefani will be Pink’s special guest for both dates. The No Doubt frontwoman said: “I don’t think I would ever be me without the incredible musical influences of the UK.

“I am so excited to be back! This is going to be an amazing show.”

She continued to express her excitement on Instagram, where she wrote: “throw a fistful of glitter in the air bc i’m joining @pink across the pond at her @bsthydepark shows next summer !!! i can’t even find the words to describe how excited i am.”

Pink will continue to tour the UK next year in support of her upcoming ninth studio album, Trustfall. Fronted by the Max Martin-produced Never Gonna Not Dance Again, which topped the UK iTunes charts, the album is due for release 17 February.

Gwen last released music in 2020 and 2021 with the critically-acclaimed Let Me Reintroduce Myself and the Saweetie-assisted Slow Clap.

Her last studio album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like (2016), became her first chart-topper on the Billboard 200. The following year, she released her first-ever Christmas album, You Make It Feel Like Christmas, which received critical acclaim.

Both stars have performed together multiple times, most notably for a duet of Gwen’s signature 90s hit Just a Girl at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in 2012.

During the Beautiful Trauma World Tour, Gwen also joined Pink for a mashup of Funhouse and Just a Girl.
