Drag Race winner Shea Couleé has reportedly been cast in an undisclosed role in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart, Deadline reported.

Celebrating the news on Twitter, she wrote: “BEYOND excited to be strutting out of the Werkroom right into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Words cannot express how excited I am to be a part of this amazing project! Acting was my first love, and I’m thrilled to be doing it again in such a big way!”

The former GAY TIMES cover star joins the previously announced actress Dominique Thorne who is set to play Riri Williams, a genius inventor who has created the most advanced suit of armour since Iron Man.

Anthony Ramos and Alden Ehrenreich are also involved in production, with the All Stars 5 winner’s role being unknown at this time.

Shea’s casting comes just days after she competed in the final of All Stars 7, where she ultimately placed 3rd/4th alongside Trinity the Tuck.

During her time on Drag Race, she has racked up a total of four challenge wins and made the finale of every season she competed in.

Ironheart is expected to be released in 2023, though an exact date is yet to be confirmed.
