The US Olympian has called out all the bigotry from online trolls.
Gus Kenworthy has taken to Twitter to reveal some of the homophobic abuse he receives from online trolls.
The freeskier made headlines this year, for being an out-and-proud Olympian. He was caught on camera kissing his boyfriend earlier this month at the Winter Olympics, giving viewers a much-needed dose of LGBTQ representation at one of the world’s biggest sporting events.
While many celebrated the moment, there were others who took issue with a loving couple showing affection on television just because they are of the same sex.
Gus inserted four screenshots of the anti-gay abuse he’s received on his YouTube channel, and tweeted: “Them: It’s 2018 nobody cares that you’re gay. Homophobia doesn’t exist anymore. Get over yourself. My YouTube notifications:”

This isn’t the first time Gus has called out homophobia.
Following his on-screen kiss, he hit out at the online trolls during an appearance on the Today Show: “My entire life, in movies and commercials, in public… you see straight, heterosexual love, and that’s completely fine because it’s ‘normal’.
“Us also showing the same type of affection isn’t shoving it in your face. It’s just us existing.”
Earlier this week, the out athlete also shaded the hell out of Ivanka Trump, after she attended the Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony in Pyeongchang.
He tweeted: “So proud of all these people! Everybody here has worked so hard to make it to the Olympics and have the opportunity to walk in the closing ceremony! Well… Everyone except Ivanka. Honestly, tf is she doing here??”
Also, last year, he said he would refuse an invitation to the White House while Donald Trump is president because of his “direct attack on the LGBTQ community”. Then, he threw some epic shade at Mike Pence because of his anti-LGBTQ track record (yaaas).
