Can you guess which dating app is launching its own clothing line?

The world’s most popular gay dating app is coming to a wardrobe near you…

It’s unlikely that anyone associates Grindr with clothes, given how many nudes get traded around the ‘dating’ app on the daily, but that’s exactly who’s launching their first-ever menswear range.

The 29-piece Varsity Collection is inspired by queer pop culture and ancient Greek motifs, and features everything you’ve ever wanted from short shorts to track pants, mesh tops to sweatshirts, and even a jockstrap.

The clothes were designed in collaboration with Print All Over Me, and all proceeds will go to Athlete Ally’s Principle 6 campaign, a non-profit organisation focused on ending homophobia and transphobia in the sports community.

Landis Smithers, creative director of Grindr, said: “As we keep evolving, we are looking for ways to combine things people enjoy with ways to help the community globally.

“The collection feels sexy, cheeky, fun, but in the end, all profits are going to an amazing group that helps athletes with the issues the gay community faces all around the world.

“It felt like a different way to approach sports, and every partner in the mix has been amazing.”
