3 ways to wear jeans well at the office

Denim, all day, every day.

There comes a time when you decide you want more from your denim. One black pair that you live in for the entirety of winter just won’t cut it anymore; and with our lives being more 24/7 now than ever, they need to work harder.

This week we’re looking at the jeans that you can seamlessly wear from the office to anywhere from the bar to the theatre, because it’s not cute having to wear suit trousers all the time.

1. Try a different colour

Denim doesn’t have to mean black or super casual, look for a pair in shades of beige that will act as a mock chino. These Loro Piana ones will work year round, and especially well for smarter offices where they can be dressed up with a blazer and some chic loafers.

2. Try a true blue

If you haven’t already invested in a selvedge pair of jeans then now is the time. Grab some in a dark indigo shade that can be easily worn at work and afterwards. Cuff the bottoms and add a printed shirt for more casual looks and then do a button-down collar striped shirt and some fresh sneakers for a smarter look.

3. Don’t deny yourself of white jeans

Yes, the guys on TOWIE may have made them look terrible at one point, but you’re not going to wear them super tight with a Ronseal tan. Instead get a straight fit pair and elevate them with a linen shirt and smart overshirt.
