We wouldn’t be surprised to hear if Russia pulled adverts for a gay dating website, but Canada? Really? Just look how happy – and topless – everyone is.
What possible reason could they have? Well, the posters for gay hookup site Squirt.org were removed because the company “promoted sex in public places, which is against the law”, according to a spokesperson from the Toronto Transit Commission.
And here’s the really weird bit: Squirt.com claim the 100 posters were only removed after they were seen inside train carriages – allegedly some were displayed outside a station from June to September without problems.
Plus, adverts for Tinder have have stayed untouched.
