Tove Lo has continued her stunning run of new singles with her most euphoric anthem yet.

The Swedish star has released 2 DIE 4 as the third cut from her forthcoming new album Dirt Femme.

The club banger – which samples the iconic hook from Popcorn, originally released by Hot Butter in 1972 – was co-written by Tove along with Oscar Gorres and Gershon Kingsley.

The accompanying music video sees the GRAMMY-nominated musician in powerful, futuristic fashion while wearing a strap on and wandering through the desert.

“With 2 Die 4 I wanted ‘instantly iconic’ energy,” she explains. “I’ve never sampled anything before, and this feels like the perfect first moment.”

Speaking about the music video, Tove adds: “I wanted to make something nostalgic, sexy and iconic.

“The character for this scene is wonder woman with big dick energy and I just love it. Now, if you know what’s good for you, go listen on repeat.”

Tove Lo will release her fifth studio album Dirt Femme on 14 October, and support it with a new headline tour of Europe.

The tracklist for Dirt Femme is as follows:
