Sam Smith has unveiled details of their 27-date tour in support of their upcoming fourth studio album, Gloria.

The Gloria tour will kick off on July 25 at FTX Arena in Florida, with support from Jessie Reyez.

The tour will make stops in Orlando, Nashville, New York, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Seattle, Houston, Monterrey, and more before closing out the tour on September 14 at Palacio de Los Deportes in Mexico City.

It will mark Smith’s return playing arenas since their 2018 tour, which included 94 shows in support of their second album The Thrill of It All.

Smith’s North American tour will support their upcoming record, Gloria, which will feature 13 tracks and is due for release 27 January via Capitol Records.

The record will include Love Me More and the Kim Petras-assisted hit collaboration Unholy, which smashed the charts worldwide – peaking at number one and two in the UK and US, respectively.

In their announcement for Gloria, Sam said they’re “feeling overwhelmed and emotional as I start to let go” of the album and “hand this work over to you”.

“It has been magical in every way to make this piece of music,” they added, “and by giving this record to you I am giving you part of my heart and soul.”

Smith previously announced a UK and Europe tour which will take place in May.

Tickets for the North American tour will be general public starting January 13 at 9am local time.
