Actress Tatiana Maslany has shown her support of trans lives whilst promoting her upcoming series, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

While doing press for the Marvel show, Maslany wore a white jumper with “Support Trans Futures” written across the front.

The series follows Jennifer Walters, an attorney who navigates being a green, super-powered Hulk after she inherited the powers after an accident.

It’s the latest show to be initiated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

She-Hulk consists of nine episodes and was written and created by Jessica Gao.

The show is based on the Marvel comics of the same name and will be available to stream on Disney+ from 18 August.

Alongside Maslany, She-Hulk also stars Jameela Jamil (The Good Place), MCU veteran Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth.

The 36-year-old has consistently supported the LGBTQ+ community throughout her career.

“I’m aware of what reach images like that have,” she told the Los Angeles Times in a recent interview.

“I know how little it costs me to do something like that. I’m incredibly privileged and I’m very fortunate to have the platform I do. And I’m very supportive of people who are fighting on the ground for LGBTQ rights. That community means a lot to me and if there’s any way that I can continue to voice my allyship then I’ll do it.”

She previously starred in thriller series Orphan Black, which was praised for its queer representation.

Fans took to Twitter to commend the actress for her efforts.

“We have to stan a trans supporting queen” said one fan.

Another commented she’s “an actual legend.”

The forthcoming series is highly anticipated, as the official trailer garnered over 22,000,000 views since its release three weeks ago.
