Lil Nas X asked his team to deliver pizzas to a group of homophobic protesters that showed up outside of his concert in Boston.

The singer was performing in the city when a religious group appeared outside the venue in protest of his performance.

Rather than ignore the haters, Lil Nas decided to make the most of the moment with a kind gesture.

The artist reposted a video of the protesters on Twitter and captioned it: “Just told my team to send them pizza, this is really good promo!”

The tweet racked up over a million views, with the 23-year-old seeing the humorous side of the situation.

Several hours later, Nas posted a follow up tweet that updated fans on if the protesters accepted his pizza delivery.

In the video, members of his team can be seen trying to give the food to the group, which they refused to take.

However, Lil Nas X joked that he “accidentally fell in love” with one of the protesters.

He tweeted an edit of the footage, captioned: “update: they didn’t want the pizza but i accidentally fell in love with one of the homophobic protestors.”

Midway through the clip, it slows down and focussed on one of the protesters, who was wearing a t-shirt that said “Christ’s Forgiveness Ministries Revival.”

Mystery of Love by Sufjan Stevens played in the background.

Fans flocked to the comments to add to the ongoing joke.

One supporter wrote: “Suddenly I agree with them,” to which Nas responded: “Yeah they kinda have a point.”

Another added: “You can change him. U got this bestie.”
