Beanie Feldstein has announced her engagement to producer Bonnie Chance Roberts.

On Thursday, the actress shared a series of photos from the proposal and captioned the post, “I do, bon.”

The post was met with support from fellow LGBTQ+ stars such as Abbi Jacobson, Billy Eichner, Ilana Glazer, Joe Locke, Jameela Jamil, Manila Luzon, Mj Rodriguez and MUNA.

Feldstein met Roberts on the set of the 2019 coming-of-age comedy How to Build a Girl.

Ahead of the film’s release, she declared her feelings for her partner on Instagram as she wrote: “I took this photo of @bonnie_chance the night I knew I was in love with her.

“She made fun of my bowling skills and then belted karaoke loud enough for all of London to hear her. She’s the brightest, silliest, warmest, most loving woman and I can’t believe she’s mine.”

In an interview with Vogue earlier this year, Feldstein said Roberts is “the best thing that’s ever happened to me”.

She told the publication: “When something comes into your life and shifts the tectonic plates in such a crazy, incredible way— there’s no question for me that I wasn’t going to be open about it.”

Feldstein is best known for her roles in comedies such as Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016), Lady Bird (2017) and Booksmart (2019). The latter earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination.

She later starred as Monica Lewinsky in the third season of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series American Crime Story: Impeachment (2021) and as Fanny Brice in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl (2022).
