Zelim Bakaev is a young pop singer from Chechnya, Russia. Exactly one year ago yesterday, he disappeared.

The young star went to Chechnya to attend his sister’s wedding. He was abducted from the street and never seen again.

Zelim’s mother has pleaded to Ramzan Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic, for answers about what happened to her son.

But one year later and NOTHING has been said or done.

Not for Zelim, or for any of the victims of the “gay purge” in Chechnya.

On this solemn anniversary, LGBTQ rights group All Out is promising to remember Zelim and to keep fighting.

Here are 3 things you can do today to help commemorate Zelim’s life:

Sign the petition demanding a thorough investigation of Zelim’s disappearance.
