As a queer community, we’re always looking for the best ways to express our individuality and authenticity.

There is an undeniable gender disparity that the queer community faces when they shop, which Klarna is trying to help overcome by making things as accessible as possible for the LGBTQ+ community.

Identities are an ever-changing thing and, through Klarna, customers are able to align theirs with new outfits, collections and creators – pushing the boundaries of self-expression as they do so.

Klarna enables people to express their individuality and authenticity, helping them explore and discover new items they want and need to express themselves however they like.

Klarna, one of the world’s leading shopping services, is celebrating five unique shopping personas in a new partnership with GAY TIMES.

Over the course of the next five months, a group of hand selected LGBTQ+ creators will share the way they shop, give advice for those looking to try new products and explore how Klarna simplifies it all for them.

Each influencer has been chosen to represent one of the five shopping personality types which are the Hypebeast, Festival Lover, ‘That’ Girl, Gamer and Ring Master.

The group will showcase their individuality and authenticity through a content and editorial series exploring their style, attitude and personality and how this is expressed through their shopping habits.

Exploring the individual style stories of members of the LGBTQ community, the series aims to highlight the breadth of Klarna merchants and how to tap into them to express your own personality.

Each shopping personality has curated their own wishlist which will feature on the Klarna app. The wishlist will be shoppable in the app for consumers to browse, take inspiration from and to purchase.

“We as a brand are extremely proud and excited to partner with GAY TIMES, as a part of our ongoing efforts to support the LGBTQ+ community,” said AJ Coyne, Head of Global Brand & Creative at Klarna.

“We hope our new creative partnership will enable members of the community to inspire and engage with each other in interesting and relevant ways, and perhaps Klarna can even help elevate GAY TIMES readers’ shopping experiences along the way!”
