Jinkx Monsoon and Willow Pill dished on their herstoric wins and Drag Race prize money in a new interview.

Over the last few months, TV viewers have joyfully consumed RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14 and the all-winners season of its popular All Stars spinoff.

Across both series, each of the competing queens delivered show-stopping looks and gag-worthy moments that have easily gone down in Drag Race history.

However in the end, Willow Pill and Jinkx Monsoon emerged victorious and secured the crowns for season 14 and All Stars 7, respectively.

In an interview with Variety, the two beloved queens opened up about their groundbreaking seasons and navigating life post Drag Race.

When asked if her “Queens of All Queens” title has sunk in yet, Jinkx joked that it “doesn’t live in her body” at the moment.

“But I’m here at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and so many people stop me and congratulate me. I think it becomes real with every person who runs up to me,” she explained.

As for Willow, the season 14 winner revealed that it “finally kicked in last month.”

“I had time to relax, go to the beach and hang out with friends. So now that I’m out of the tornado that happens, post Drag Race, I’ve had the time to say, ‘Oh my gosh, I achieved my dream,'” she said.

The two queens also shared how they’ve been spending their glorious cash prizes.

“I’m putting it in my kids’ college fund. But beyond that right now, my plan is just to keep it in savings and hopefully retire early,” Willow admitted.

Jinkx echoed similar sentiments and revealed that she wants to put a portion to her forever wedding rings and home improvement necessities.

Towards the end of their interview, the two winners revealed how they’ve grown and changed since taking home the crown.

“It’s been a very short five minutes since I won, but I’ve been very lucky to have so many queens before me give me some of the best advice,” Willow explained.

“That was ‘Preserve yourself and know when to say no and know when to step out of the spotlight because it’s a little bit all-consuming at times.’

“Since the show, I’ve really taken some time to relax and take time for myself which is hard when everyone’s telling you that this is the hot time to strike.”

As for Jinkx, the Portland-based queen revealed that her confidence has increased since doing season five of Drag Race and All Stars 7.

“I’ve done a lot of work on myself as a human being, not just a drag artist… I’ve been three years sober from alcohol and that was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself,” she added.

“Combined with therapy, witchcraft and meeting the love of my life, I’m in a pretty solid place.”

We love to see our Drag Race winners thriving.
