Drag Race UK star Just May has released her electric debut single, Just Like Geri.

If you’ve tuned into the premiere episode of Drag Race UK season four, chances are you know of the fabulous Essex-based queen.

In the series’ first episode, the self-titled “world premier Geri Halliwell impersonator” wowed viewers with her two iconic runway looks and hilarious personality.

However, after receiving mixed reviews from the judges, Just May exited the series after lip-syncing against Dakota Schiffer.

“I mean, you know what, choices were made, decisions were had, and it’s out of our control. We’ve got to take the cards that are dealt and dealt with it how it is,” she told GAY TIMES following the episode’s release.

“I mean, do I think I should have gone? No. Did I potentially not know the words to some of that song? Yeah, but do you know what? If it didn’t come out before 2005, how am I supposed to know it?! It was an unfair advantage to Dakota!”

While her time on Drag Race came to an unfortunate end, the beloved performer has shown no signs of slowing down.

On 22 September, Just May made her music debut with her new single, Just Like Geri.

As the title suggests, the electric pop record pays homage to the popular Spice Girls star by referencing an array of iconic phrases from the group’s hit singles – including Say You’ll Be There and Girl Power.

“I’m just like Geri back it up. I’m just like Geri never stop. Just like Geri, I want to be on top,” she sings.

Alongside the single’s release, Just May also dropped an accompanying music video that effortlessly showcased her love and admiration for the Scream If You Wanna Go Faster artist.

Throughout the visual, the Essex queen channel’s her inner Ginger Spice by performing an intricate dance routine and strutting in some of Halliwell’s most iconic looks – including her Union Jack dress and Say You’ll Be There ensemble.
