Drag Race UK star Ella Vaday has announced a new project with an unexpected twist.

Back in 2021, Drag Race fans around the world were first introduced to the talented queen in the show’s third season.

During her time in the competition, the self-described “beast from Dagenham East” wowed viewers with her incredible runway ensembles, hilarious Snatch Game impression of TV chef Nigella Lawson, and lovable personality.

Ella also joined the short list of queens who have won four maxi-challenges in one season and received no negative critiques.

Since her run on Drag Race UK, which saw her finishing as a runner-up, she has remained booked and busy with her various tours, charity partnerships and burgeoning acting career.

Now, it looks like Ella is adding another project under her belt, but this time, it’s within the fitness world.

At the end of August, the 34-year-old talent took to Instagram to announce her new fitness website FITTI, writing: “Oi Fitti’s….somethings coming.”

The website is set to offer fans the opportunity to participate in two different fitness plans – one led by Ella and another led by her out-of-drag identity, Nick Collier.

In a recent interview with Digital Spy, the Drag Race star gave further insight into her new project and what fans can expect.

“Obviously, I do drag, most people know me as a drag queen, but I live most of my life mainly as Nick. So it’s really exciting,” she told the news outlet.

When discussing the inspiration behind FITTI, Ella revealed that it stemmed from her taking charge of her health at the end of 2022.

“Exercise and health has become such a massive part of my life. I started taking my health really, really seriously around Christmas time after a really heck schedule last year,” she explained.

“So, I’m just really excited to bring this to everyone. It’s really unique, there’s nothing like it. I don’t think a drag queen has ever done anything like this, let alone someone from the LGBTQ+ community.”

Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait too long for Ella and Nick to deliver fitness routines and tips. The website is set to go live on 18 September.

Ella’s new venture comes over a year after she expressed to GAY TIMES her hopes of pursuing opportunities outside the Drag Race universe.

“I think what would be really exciting for me would be to do some in and out of drag because I feel like, certainly in this country, no one’s really broken into that side of things, and as that’s been my bread and butter the last sort of, well my whole life, it would be great to be able to do more,” she said.

“I’m all about doing things the hard way. So I’d rather do the things that scare me and are really going to test me.”
