This is the best Peppermint has ever looked.

Peppermint has unveiled her fierce-ass-motherfuckin’ video for the sassy dance banger, Black Pepper.

The Drag Race finalist – and Gay Times cover model – embraces her inner rap goddess for the track, and unleashes some ah-mah-zeng choreography with her team of fabulous dancers.

Black Pepper is taken from Peppermint’s sophomore studio album of the same name, which is available now on iTunes and streaming services – so go get your jush now!

Earlier this year, Peppermint became the first trans woman to create a principal role on Broadway.

She is set to star in Head Over Heels, a new comedy/musical featuring songs from the iconic, all-female American rock band The Go-Go’s, known for their hits Vacation, We Got the Beat, Our Lips Are Sealed and Cool Jerk.

Michael Mayer’s production will first show at San Francisco’s Curran on 10 April until 6 May, and will then make its Broadway debut at the Hudson Theatre on 23 June, before it’s opening night on 26 July.

As well as covering Gay Times back in February, Peppermint spoke with Orange is the New Black star – and close friend – Laverne Cox for our Pride issue this month.

The LGBTQ icons dissected the layers of racism in America, privilege, and addressed the violence that trans women of colour face every day in the USA.
