The extension and overhaul come as the cast celebrate their 19th year in the West End.

Mamma Mia! features music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.

The cast isn’t changing yet, but from June 11, it will have a new look. Ricky Butt will play Rosie, Neil Moors will be Harry, Stephen Beckett will be Bill, Georgia Louise plays Sophie, Alec Porter is going to be Sky, Charlotte O’Rourke will play Ali, Leah St Luce stars as Lisa and Eamonn Cox is going to be Eddie.

And as for booking, the show is now booking until 2 March 2019. Tickets can be purchased here.

But for those of you who aren’t in to theatre, but are into Mamma Mia! fear not, as a second movie is on the way, and it’s going to feature Cher, however there hasn’t been any sign of Meryl Streep in any of the trailers.

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again will be written and directed by Ol Parker of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel success. It will be released officially on 20 July 2018 – ten years and two days after Mamma Mia! opened.
