Rising US singer-songwriter VINCINT has released his infectious new single Someday.

The track is a glorious slice of synths-and-strings-led pop that builds into a powerhouse chorus with echoes of the 80s.

To accompany the track, VINCINT serves up some serious moves in a dance studio, with more than a nod to 80s classic film Flashdance.

“I never like to go too deep into my own stories about my songs, because I want my fans to be able to create their own,” VINCINT told Paper of the new track.

“But this one is extremely special to me because I wrote it when I was in a place of understanding. Understanding that love doesn’t always mean a happy-ever-after, sometimes it just isn’t the right time, and that has to be okay!

“But in the back of my mind, there’s that little voice that lets you know you’re gonna be good, whispering ‘maybe someday though.'”

Someday will feature on VINCINT’s upcoming EP, which is expected to be released later this year.

The new single follows his previous sky-soaring anthems Please Don’t Fall in Love and Remember Me.
