Music videos don’t get much more slick than this.

Sam Smith has teamed up with Logic for the single version of Pray, and its accompanying visual is cinematic in scale.

It sees the British singer performing the gospel track in a grand manor house, which he arrived to Bond-style in a speed boat across Lake Como in Italy.

“We are all looking around at what’s happening in the world and it is just messed,” Sam said of the song.

“You’ve got no choice but to look up to the sky and put your hands together and pray for something to happen, because I feel helpless as a human right now.”

Pray was co-written by Sam Smith with legendary producer Timbaland.

It’s the third single to be lifted from Smith’s latest album The Thrill Of It All, which hit No.1 in the UK and US last year.

The star is currently in his 92-date world tour, which kick-started in Sheffield back in March.

During a performance of HIM at one of his shows, he dedicated it to the LGBTQ community.

“I wrote this song as a message to everyone listening that love is love,” he told the crowd.

“I’m a proud, proud gay man, and if you’re proud of who you are tonight, I wanna see your hands in the air.”
