The game is only a demo at the moment, but is available to download for free.

Pink, White or Blue is set to become the first game to focus on gender identity. In the game you play as a transgender character who is trying to cope with a binary world.

The game borrows some elements from the horror genre, but also has lighter imagery such as horses and flowers. Some scenes in the game, break away from this lighter imagery, as they show the effects that physical and mental abuse have on the player character.

Writing for Alpha Beta Gamer, KJ Robertson said: “Pink White or Blue is a powerful narrative experience with horror elements, in which you spend some time in the shoes of a transgender person as the try to cope in a binary world.

“Pink White or Blue goes to some very dark places, but it’s also full of beauty. The artwork is fantastic throughout – whether depicting the beauty of an imagined world or the harsh reality of a real one.

“There’s lots of clever imagery throughout that alludes to how binary the world is and lots of clever hints as to who the protagonists are.

“It’s a powerful experience that approaches some heavy subject matter and deals with it in a thoughtful and thought provoking manner. Highly recommended.”
