“Everybody say ‘love!’ That’s what this show is all about: spreading love.”

Yas honey! Mama Ru is headed to daytime telly with his upcoming, self-titled talk show. It will premiere on FOX in June for a limited three-week run.

The “modern take on the format” will follow RuPaul and his “distinctive voice, exceptional interview skills, passion for helping others and inclusive brand of humor to broadcast television” as he conducts celebrity discussions.

In the short teaser, RuPaul tells the crowd: “Everybody say ‘love!’ That’s what this show is all about: spreading love. It starts with loving yourself, because if you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else?

“Can I get an ‘amen’ up in here? It starts with you, and it starts right here, right now.”

He added in a statement: “Now more than ever before we need a global voice that will help everyday people navigate this unique time in history. Not only do I want to be a part of that conversation, I want to help facilitate it.”

RuPaul premieres 10 June on select FOX stations, including WNYW FOX 5 in New York City and KTTV FOX 11 in Los Angeles. Other stations and air times will be confirmed over the coming months.
