“I couldn’t feel more honored and grateful.”

Queer Eye star Tan France is set to make his acting debut on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s upcoming fourth season.

The fashion expert made the announcement on his Instagram account, telling fans: “Yesterday, I did something I would have never dreamt possible. I filmed a scripted scene!

“The amazing folks @cw_crazyxgf had me guest star, and I couldn’t feel more honored and grateful.”

He added: “Crazy Ex Girlfriend is just wicked, and the crew couldn’t have been more amazing to work with. I can’t wait for you guys to see this episode, in November.”

The fourth – and final – season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will premiere 12 October and consists of 18 episodes.

The series stars Rachel Bloom, Vincent Rodriquez III, Donna Lynne Champlin, Pete Gardner, Vella Lovell, Gabrielle Ruiz, David Hull, Scott Michael Foster and Sylar Astin.

Since its debut, the show has been commended for its LGBTQ characters and depiction of mental health.

It has received two GLAAD nominations, five Emmy nominations and two Golden Globe acting nominations for Bloom – which she won in 2016.
