Call Me Loop has premiered her brand new single, and you can hear it first on Gay Times.
The rising singer-songwriter has released Business as her new song; an emotive slice of pop with a staccato guitar line and her smooth, soulful vocals.
“Business was the first time I felt really vulnerable in my songwriting,” she explains. “I wrote it at the start of the year when I was in a pretty sad headspace about my ex.
“He moved on pretty quickly after we broke up and I made the rookie error of keeping tabs on his new relationship across his social media. My friends were like ‘STOP LOOKING’, but I have little to no self-control with these kind of things!
“I was annoyed at him, jealous and sad all at the same time, but also just angry with myself cos I wanted him to be happy and knew I had no right to be feeling these things when I was the one who ended it.
“I think Business kinda depicts that internal struggle I was going through on a daily basis.”
Business comes off the back of Call Me Loop’s addictive single Cut & Run, which gained her support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, MTV, and PopJustice.
The track positions the young singer – originally from Surrey – as one of the brightest talents to keep an eye on next year.
Even better, the singer has described her style as “sassy, emotive electronic pop,” which we are one-hundred percent here for. Bring on the debut album.
Call Me Loop already has other brilliant tracks like Give ‘n’ Take and Maybe I’m A Liar, so you should go check those out too.
Business will be available to download and stream from 23 November, so remember to add it to your playlist.
