Christmas is coming early thanks to Myra DuBois.
The drag performer and South Yorkshire native, who you may have seen on BBC1’s The John Bishop Show and Channel 5’s Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, is bringing her sack of surprises to Soho Theatre for a special Christmas show.
We Wish You A Myra Christmas promises “an evening of off-season seasonal sing-a-longs and summertime yule-tide anecdotes from her Christmases past, all delivered with her trademark acerbic wit.”
Audience members are invited to step into the DuBois sitting room for family feuds, “enough Quality Streets to induce a diabetic coma” and, of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without the appearance of Jesus himself.
Myra will be appearing at the Soho Theatre on Tuesday 28 May, Wednesday 29 May, Thursday 30 May, Friday 31 May, and Saturday 1 June with shows beginning at 9:30pm. Tickets start from £13.
