Miley Cyrus is coming back!

The pop superstar has unveiled the name, cover and release date for her highly-anticipated new album She Is Coming, which we know now is due out on 31 May.

Miley took to social media to share the black and white album cover, which sees her wearing a cropped t-shirt with ‘Never Mind The Bollocks’ written on it. There’s also a parental advisory warning, which doesn’t really surprise us.

It’s been speculated that the release is a five-track EP featuring three songs she performed at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend on Saturday – Dream, Mother’s Daughter and Cattitude – the latter of which is rumoured to feature RuPaul.

Cattitude in particular has caused a stir on social media for featuring the lyrics, “I love you Nicki but I listen to Cardi”, referencing the feud between rappers Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

She Is Coming is Miley’s first new music since 2017’s studio album Younger Now, which saw her ditch her controversial Bangerz sound and return to her country roots with singles like dreamy Malibu and pansexual breakup song She’s Not Him.

Elsewhere, the singer will star in an upcoming episode of Black Mirror as a pop star “whose charmed existence isn’t quite as rosy it appears”. The episode will be available to stream on Netflix from 5 June – you can watch the trailer for that here.
