Netflix have released the first trailer for Work It.

The upcoming dance comedy stars Sabrina Carpenter (The Hate U Give) as Quinn Ackerman, a student whose admission to the college of her dreams depends on her performance at a dance competition – twist is, she can’t dance.

When she’s (unsurprisingly) denied a place in The Thunderbirds, the elite dancing squad in her school, she forms a “ragtag group of dancers” to take them on and make history as the first new team to take the crown.

Keiynan Lonsdale (Love, Simon) co-stars as the lead dancer for The Thunderbirds – and Quinn’s nemesis – while Jordan Fisher (To All The Boys: PS. I Still Love You) plays the skilled choreographer she recruits to catapult her team to success.

Liza Koshy (Freakish), Drew Ray Tanner (Riverdale) and Michelle Buteau (Always Be My Maybe) also star.

Work It premieres 7 August on Netflix – watch the first trailer below.
