Little Mix are teaming up with Nicki Minaj, and it sounds epic.

The chart-topping girl group have made no secret of their love for the rap queen throughout their career, and now they’ve finally bagged a collaboration on upcoming single Woman Like Me.

Jade, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Perrie announced the news on social media by sharing the single artwork, which sees the girls embracing their natural beauty in stripped-back makeup and black polonecks, alongside the song’s release date: 12 October.

They also shared a preview of the song, which is described as “a harmony led, urban, reggae pop smash”, and it’s got us counting down the days until it’s released. It certainly sounds like a banger!

While a release date for Little Mix’s fifth studio album hasn’t been officially announced yet, fans are expecting it to drop in November, as that’s when all four of their past records have been released.

Back in August, the girls took to Instagram to tease a previously unheard song on which they declared over a hip-hop beat: “I don’t need a man, if I’m loving you it’s ‘cause I can, I don’t want your cash, I put my own rock on my hand.”

It remains to be seen if that was a snippet from newly announced single Woman Like Me, or a different song entirely, but we’re excited either way.
