It’s a collaboration made in heaven.
After releasing her second studio album In My Defense over the summer, which gave us the incredible tracks Sally Walker and Started, Iggy Azalea is back with another new single called Lola featuring rising pop superstar Alice Chater.
It’s arguably the rapper’s most pop-leaning single since Fancy, featuring a genius sample of Rosemary Clooney’s Mambo Italiano as Alice sets the tone with the gorgeous intro: “Loaded gun, that’s how she feels, hard as stone, she aims to kill.”
The rapper’s visuals are always show-stopping, but she’s truly outdone herself with this one. The looks! The choreography! The set designs! We’re confident in saying it’s her best music video so far (and the bar is pretty high).
Iggy has also announced a brand new EP called Wicked Lips which will be coming out next week. She’s keeping her fans fed.
