There’s a pounding coming your way…

While the East Coast of the United States faces bitterly cold weather and snow, one Virginia news anchor, Blaine Stewart, is making light of the situation with some good old-fashioned innuendo on Twitter.

“Get ready for a pounding. Some of us could see 8 inches or more. That’s too much – even for me,” he wrote earlier this week.

The tweet received over 15,000 likes before it was eventually taken down. It seems the forecast truly was too much, even for Blaine, who identifies as “LGBT proud” on his Twitter account.

It’s not the first time he’s delivered an innuendo that’d make Mae West proud – last year, when Virginia was expected up to 10 inches(!) of snow, he clarified for all the dirty minds at home that they weren’t the kind of inches you’d find on a hook-up app.

“These are not Grindr inches. These are *actual* inches!” he joked.

Fancy taking a presenting job in the UK, Blaine? We could use some of your humour.
